TL;DR: Your content is stored securely. We do not sell your personal data or saved content. We may analyze your saved content to power search, organization, insights, and optional recommendations, including clearly labeled sponsored or affiliate recommendations.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — For authentication and account recovery
- User ID — A unique identifier for your account (generated automatically)
Content Data
When you save content to MemoryStore:
- URLs you save — Links to Instagram, YouTube, Twitter content
- Content metadata — Title, description, author, duration, thumbnails
- AI-generated analysis — Summaries, tags, and searchable descriptions created by AI
- Topic and interest signals — Categories, clusters, and inferred interests created from your saved content
- Chat messages — Your conversations with our AI search feature
Plugin & Integration Data
If you install, configure, or use plugins or webhooks:
- Plugin Configurations — User-provided settings, preferences, or profile data (e.g. birth dates, birth times, and locations for astrology analysis) stored to personalize plugin outcomes
- Custom Webhook URLs & Tokens — Webhook endpoints and Personal Access Tokens (PATs) you create to connect your private workflows
- Plugin Execution Records — Processing status, milestone progress, and returned structured results
Usage Data
We track basic usage to enforce plan limits:
- Daily upload counts
- Video duration totals
- Feature usage patterns
- Recommendation preferences and interactions, when recommendation features are available
Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan:
- Payment transactions are processed by revenuekart (India) or Apple (iOS)
- We store transaction IDs and subscription status
- We do NOT store credit card numbers or bank details
2. How We Use Your Information

- AI Analysis — Our AI processes your content to generate searchable summaries
- Personalized Insights — Identify topics, patterns, and clusters across your saved library

3. Data Storage & Security
🔒 Your media files are stored securely on our cloud servers. We only store metadata and AI analysis in our database.
- Database hosted on Supabase (encrypted at rest)
- All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Content can be optionally encrypted with your personal key
- We use industry-standard security practices
4. AI Data Processing & Third-Party Sharing
⚠️ Important: MemoryStore uses AI services to provide intelligent features. Your explicit consent is required before any data is shared with AI providers.
4.1 Data Sent to AI Services
When you use AI features, the following data may be sent for processing:
- URLs you save (YouTube, articles, social media links)
- Video and audio content for transcription
- Text content for summarization and analysis
- Your chat queries when using AI-powered search
- Content metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails)

4.3 How AI Data is Used
- Generate summaries and key points from your content
- Create searchable transcripts from videos and audio

- Power intelligent, semantic search across your library
- Answer questions about your saved content
4.4 Your Consent & Control
- AI features are optional and require your explicit consent
- You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings
- Content can be saved without AI analysis if you prefer
- We do not sell your saved content or personal data to advertisers
- AI analysis may also support optional recommendations inside MemoryStore, when available
- Google processes data solely for AI analysis, not for training their models
5. Personalized Recommendations, Sponsored Placements & Affiliate Links
MemoryStore may use the same content understanding that powers search - saved URLs, metadata, transcripts, summaries, tags, topic clusters, and library activity - to suggest relevant content, tools, products, courses, or services.
- Recommendations are shown inside MemoryStore and are based on your saved-content context.
- Some recommendations may be sponsored or contain affiliate links. If you purchase through those links, MemoryStore may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Sponsored or affiliate recommendations will be clearly labeled.
- We do not give advertisers direct access to your saved library, transcripts, summaries, chats, or personal notes.
- Recommendations in areas like finance, health, or legal topics are informational and are not professional advice.
6. Plugins, Webhooks & Third-Party Microservices
MemoryStore allows you to extend your library with first-party and third-party plugins (such as Astrology Analyzers, Universal Video Downloaders, and personal sync tools) and custom automation webhooks:
- Explicit Triggering: MemoryStore only transmits content data to a plugin when you install that plugin and trigger it (via comment commands, custom action buttons, or automated trigger rules you enable).
- Data Sent to Plugins: When triggered, MemoryStore dispatches an HTTPS webhook containing relevant content metadata (title, URL, transcript, tags) and your configured plugin preferences.
- Complete Database Isolation: External plugins do NOT have direct access to your MemoryStore database, login credentials, or other saved content. Plugins receive only the specific payload for the triggered memory.
- Third-Party Privacy Practices: Third-party plugins are operated by independent developers. We recommend reviewing the privacy notices of any third-party plugins you choose to install.
- User Control & Revocation: You can uninstall plugins, clear plugin configurations, or revoke Personal Access Tokens (PATs) at any time in Settings.
7. Other Third-Party Services
We also integrate with the following services:
- Supabase — Database and authentication
- Google Drive — Optional storage for supported uploads in your connected personal Drive account, available on every plan
- Cloudflare R2 — Temporary file processing
- revenuekart / Apple — Payment processing
- RevenueCat — Subscription management
- Microsoft Clarity — Website analytics and session insights for improving the public website
8. Data Sharing
We do NOT:
- Sell your personal data or saved content to advertisers or data brokers
- Give advertisers direct access to your library, transcripts, summaries, chats, or personal notes
- Use your data to train AI models (unless you explicitly opt-in)
We may use your saved-content context inside MemoryStore to provide personalized recommendations as described above. If a recommendation is sponsored or affiliate-based, we will label it.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — View all data we have about you
- Export — Request export support as this feature rolls out
- Delete — Request complete deletion of your account and data
- Correction — Update or correct your information
- Consent Management — Control your AI data consent in Settings
- Recommendation Controls — Manage recommendation preferences where these controls are available
- Plugin Controls — Install, configure, or remove plugins and revoke API keys
10. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Deleted content is removed within 30 days
- If you delete your account, associated data is removed within 30 days
9.1 Facebook & App Data Deletion Instructions
MemoryStore allows you to request the deletion of your account and any data associated with it, including any data retrieved from Meta/Facebook platform integrations. You can delete your account and data at any time by following these steps:
- In-App Deletion: Log into the MemoryStore app, go to Settings > Account, and click on "Delete Account". This will instantly and permanently delete all your content, metadata, and personal data from our active databases.
- Email Deletion Request: If you cannot access your account or wish to request deletion manually, you can send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request and delete all your data within 30 days of verification.
- Meta/Facebook Platform Access Revocation: If you used Facebook/Meta Login to access
MemoryStore, you can revoke access and request deletion of your data via Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Account's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
- Select "Apps and Websites" in the left menu.
- Find "MemoryStore" and click "Remove".
10. Children's Privacy
MemoryStore is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
