What happens if the original post is deleted?
If you've uploaded the media or stored it in your connected Google Drive, you keep a copy. For link-only saves, availability can still depend on the source platform.

Fair question. Here's why MemoryStore is different: First, your data lives in YOUR Google Drive, not our servers. Even if we shut down tomorrow, your archive remains intact. Second, we deeply integrate secure custom AI that never exposes your content to third party trackers. Third, we're transparent about our limitations. We're not trying to be everything to everyone. We're building one thing well: private, searchable video archiving.
What if MemoryStore shuts down?
Your data is in your Google Drive. You keep everything—the actual files, the metadata, the AI summaries. The app makes it searchable and organized, but you own the raw data. Export it anytime in standard formats. We built it this way because we've been burned by services shutting down and taking our data with them.
Why not just use Instagram Saved or YouTube Watch Later?
Native saved folders are fine for casual use. But they have three critical flaws: (1) No search—you can only browse, (2) Content disappears when creators delete posts, (3) Your activity is visible to friends via Friends Tab. MemoryStore solves all three: AI search, permanent metadata, and complete privacy. If you save more than 10-20 things per week, the investment is worth it.
