Three Dimensions of Value

How do you want to organize your mind?

Different minds look for different things. Choose your lead perspective below.

Solutions — Make the problem go away

Permanence & Safety

Keep a permanent copy of your videos.

What is it about?

Imagine saving a delicious cooking recipe video. Two weeks later, the creator deletes their post, and your saved link vanishes. MemoryStore avoids this by syncing your bookmarks directly to your personal Google Drive (downloading the video file where platform rules and developer APIs allow it). Even if the original post is deleted, your backed-up library details remain safe in your private drive.

Convenience — Skip the hard way

Speed & Ease of Action

Save in one tap directly from your feed.

What is it about?

Usually, organizing videos means creating folders, naming tags, and typing titles. It feels like chores. With MemoryStore, you just hit "Share" on a video from your Instagram feed and tap our app icon. That's it. Our system automatically listens, writes down a summary, and tags it for you. You don't have to type anything.

Experience — Feel something

Peace of Mind & Self-Status

Clear the mental load of messy bookmarks.

What is it about?

Think of your brain like a cluttered room. You know you saved a video about "how to fix a leaky sink", but you can't find it in a list of 500 random links. MemoryStore clears that stress. You can chat with your library like a friend. Just ask: "What did that plumber say about the rubber seal?" and it reads the video and answers you instantly.

Saves from
Permanent library shield

Platfrom saves are a ticking clock.

When creators delete posts, archive reels, or change their accounts to private, your bookmarks vanish. MemoryStore shields your library — keeping every save permanent, searchable, and completely yours.

Problem

Vanished Reels

When creators delete or archive posts, they disappear from your collections silently.

Solution

Google Drive Sync

Syncs clips to your Google Drive, keeping backups safe and yours forever.

Problem

Private Accounts

If an account goes private, the bookmarked link breaks permanently.

Solution

Private AI Database

AI transcripts, summaries, and search tags live in your private database permanently.

Problem

Broken Scroll

Platform collections often glitch, failing to load older bookmarks as you scroll.

Solution

Instant Library Load

A lightweight database loads your library instantly, offline or online.

Problem

Unsearchable Captions

Searching original captions fails when you can't recall the exact text.

Solution

Spoken Word Search

Search words spoken inside any video to jump to the exact second.

It takes one share. Then it does the work.

No new app to switch into, no metadata to fill in. You hit Share, MemoryStore reads the clip, and from then on it lives in a library that's actually searchable.

  1. 1

Share, from where you already are.

Open video, hit Share, pick MemoryStore.

    What is it about?

Imagine you are looking at a funny dog video inside Instagram or YouTube. You don't need to open any other app or copy links. Just tap the "Share" button (the arrow or paper airplane icon) inside that app, and select MemoryStore. We will instantly remember the creator, the video image, and the exact time you saved it so you can find it later.

  2. Or

Or, comment to save from Instagram.

Mention @memorystore with a note to save instantly.

    What is it about?

Instagram gave us a direct way to save content properly: just mention @memorystore in the comment section of any post or reel and add your own unique note. MemoryStore will automatically fetch the video, transcribe it, and save it to your private library with your note attached.

  3. 2

The AI reads it. Transcript, summary, tags.

AI writes down the words and summarizes the video.

    What is it about?

When you save a video, our system acts like a helpful friend who watches it with you and takes notes. It writes down every single spoken word (a transcript), creates a short summary so you know what it's about without watching it again, and adds simple search tags like "cooking" or "fitness". If the platform rules do not let us read the video directly, you can upload the video file to get these same notes.

  4. 3

Ask for it the way you'd ask a friend.

Type a keyword or ask a question to find it.

    What is it about?

Finding saved videos is usually hard. But with MemoryStore, you can just search like you are talking to a person. You can type: "the recipe with yellow lemons" or "that podcast talk about money". The app searches through the actual words spoken in the video and takes you directly to the exact second where that word was said. You don't have to scroll through lists of old links.

  5. 4

    Chat with Videos

Hold interactive conversations with individual videos.

    What is it about?

Hold interactive conversations with individual videos. Ask questions, clarify details, or extract specific quotes from the transcript.

The library, connected

Every save you make is a node in your own graph.

What is it about?

MemoryStore quietly links things that talk about the same idea — different creators, different platforms, different days. After a few months you stop having a saved folder and start having a map of what you've been thinking about.

The part nobody else explains

Some platforms won't let us read their videos. So we let you.

More info

Some platforms don't allow us to download the videos ethically, so we gave you the option to upload here to keep it.

Here's the truth: Instagram and TikTok don't allow third-party apps to download or stream their clips. We're not going to break their rules — and we're not going to pretend we can do something we can't.

So when you save a reel, MemoryStore stores the link, the cover, the caption and the source. If you want the full AI pass on it — transcript, semantic search, chat — there's a one-tap "Upload to enable AI" button on the card. You provide the clip, we do the rest.

Why MemoryStore exists

ChatGPT doesn't know what you've watched. It never will.

What is it about?

That's the gap. MemoryStore reads every video you save and gives you one share link — paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and they answer using your library, not the open internet.

Save from anywhere. We meet each platform on its terms.

Some platforms let third-party apps read what's inside their videos. Some don't. Here's exactly what you get on each one — no marketing wiggle.

YouTube Full AI

Share → MemoryStore. We pull the public transcript, build chapters, summary and tags automatically. Search inside the words the creator said.

Instagram Metadata + Upload

Share → MemoryStore. Caption, cover, creator, saved time. Tap “Upload to enable AI” if you want a transcript — Meta doesn't let us pull the video for you.

TikTok Metadata + Upload

Same flow as Instagram. Caption and cover come down automatically; upload the clip yourself to unlock the full AI pass.

X / Twitter Metadata + Upload

Tweet text, author, embedded media link. Upload the video if you want it transcribed and searchable.

LinkedIn Metadata + Upload

Use the Chrome extension on desktop. Post text and author save automatically; upload the video to enable AI.

Direct upload Full AI

Drop a video file straight into the app. Transcribed, tagged, summarized exactly like a YouTube save. Lives in your Google Drive (Free).

Why the difference? YouTube exposes a public transcript API. Meta and TikTok don't. We don't break anyone's rules — if Meta pulled us from the App Store, you'd lose access to everything. So we ask for one tap from you, instead.

Latest — just shipped

MemoryStore now speaks MCP. ChatGPT and Claude can browse your library.

Model Context Protocol (MCP) gives AI assistants direct, authenticated access to your saved content. No copy-paste. No share links. ChatGPT and Claude can search your videos, retrieve transcripts, and ground decisions in what you've actually watched — not the internet.

Connect once, use everywhere

Link your MemoryStore account to ChatGPT or Claude through a one-time OAuth handshake. No API keys. No manual setup. Just tap approve in the app and your AI assistant gains access to your full saved library.

Search your library from ChatGPT

Ask ChatGPT "Find the YouTube video I saved about Kubernetes networking" and it searches your personal library, not the public web. Returns exact matches with transcripts and timestamps.

Retrieve video context

When you ask a follow-up about a saved video, the AI pulls the transcript, summary, and key points. It cites what you actually watched — months ago, with perfect recall.

Thought Connect — grounded thinking

The most advanced MCP tool. Tell the AI what you're trying to plan, decide, or learn — and it retrieves relevant evidence from your library in structured tiers (strong, medium, weak matches). Not generic advice. Advice grounded in content you chose to save.

What you can ask your AI Assistant:

"Find the YouTube video I saved about Kubernetes ingress and summarize it." GPT searches transcripts, summarizes the exact video, and links the timestamp.
"Based on the recipe reels I saved this week, compile a weekly shopping list." GPT aggregates ingredients from all matching saved video transcripts.
"What were the 3 negotiation steps mentioned in the salary advice reel I saved?" GPT extracts the exact advice directly from your local video backup.

Available now for all MemoryStore users. Connect at mcp.memorystore.in or use the official ChatGPT App.

Yours, not ours

Your files live in your Google Drive. That's your export.

We never sell data. We never train models on your library. Anything you upload syncs to a folder in your Google Drive (now free for all plans) — so if MemoryStore ever shuts down, your files are already in your Drive. No vendor lock-in, no export step needed.

Questions we actually get

Why doesn't AI work automatically on my Instagram saves?

Instagram's terms don't allow third-party apps to read or download their video files. Same with TikTok. We could try to hack around it. We don't, because if Meta or TikTok ever notice, the app gets pulled from the store and you lose access to everything. So on those platforms we save the link, cover, and caption — and let you tap "Upload to enable AI" if you want the full pass. YouTube is different — they expose a public transcript API, so YouTube saves get the full pass automatically.

Is MemoryStore the same as Google Cloud Memorystore?

No. MemoryStore at memorystore.in is a consumer app for saving and AI-searching Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks, links, and uploads. Google Cloud Memorystore is an unrelated managed database service for developers. People sometimes search for us as Memory Store, Memorystore, or MemoryStore app.

Where is my data actually stored?

Your saved metadata (tags, summaries, transcripts) lives on our servers. The original media — anything you upload — is synced to your own Google Drive (now free for all plans). If MemoryStore ever shuts down, you still have the raw files in a folder you own. No vendor lock-in.

Are you going to train AI on my saves?

No. Your library is private. We don't sell it, we don't license it to model providers, we don't train on it.

Is Android really available?

Yes — the Android beta is now complete and the app is fully available on the Play Store. It has reached feature parity with iOS and you can install it right now. We ship updates every couple of weeks.

How is this different from Pocket / Raindrop / Notes?

Those store URLs. MemoryStore stores what's inside the URL — the actual sentences spoken, the topics, the people. That changes what you can do later: instead of scrolling a folder, you ask a question and get the clip back.

Why do my Instagram saved videos keep disappearing, and how does MemoryStore fix it?

Instagram and TikTok collections only save URL references. When a creator archives their reel, deletes the video, or goes private, the URL breaks and Instagram silently removes it from your folders. MemoryStore shields you from this. For YouTube links, we pull and permanently store the transcript and summary so the text never disappears. For Instagram and TikTok, you can upload the video file directly to the card—this saves a backup copy to your own Google Drive (now free for all plans) and preserves the AI transcripts forever, even if the original post is completely deleted.

How is my data encrypted and secured?

All data is encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. Your media syncs to your own Google Drive (now free for all plans) — meaning you hold the keys to your files. Our servers are behind Cloudflare with DDoS protection and strict access controls. We never sell your data, and we never train AI models on your library. Read the full breakdown on our Privacy page.

Can I cancel anytime? Is there a refund policy?

Yes — cancel anytime from Settings or your App Store / Play Store subscriptions. Your paid features remain active until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google per their standard policies (typically within 14 days). If you have trouble, email [email protected] and we'll help.

Can I delete my account and all my data?

Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, all saved cards, uploads, and AI data from our servers. Files already in your Google Drive remain yours. If you run into issues, email [email protected] and we'll process it within 48 hours.

Who's behind this? Are you a real company?

Yes — MemoryStore is run by a small team out of Bhopal, India, registered at memorystore.in. Not VC-funded. Not a side project we're going to abandon. Email [email protected] and a person writes back, usually within a day.

Does it work for non-English content — Hindi, Tamil, Spanish?

Yes. Transcription and search work on every major language we've tested. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin — if the audio's clear, it gets transcribed. The app UI is currently English and Hindi.

What's on the roadmap?

We maintain a public roadmap with 20 features across 5 phases. Highlights include WhatsApp/Telegram bot integration, duration-based smart folders, dead link detection, PiP support, progress tracking, home screen widgets, and visual streaks. Got something you want sooner? Tell us at [email protected].

Who's behind this

A small team. One real email.

We're not VC-funded. We're not building this to flip it. We built MemoryStore because we got tired of saving things we never used again. If something breaks or you have a question, write to [email protected] — it goes to a person, not a bot.
